Each contract names a single public source before it opens. That wording cannot be changed once trading begins. At resolution, every resting order in the market is cancelled and its hold refunded, winning shares are credited at KES 1.00 each, and losing shares go to zero. Settlement is a single atomic operation — you never see a partly-settled wallet.
VOID. A contract voids when the named source is never published, the event is cancelled, or the outcome is genuinely undeterminable from the source. A void contract refunds every position at its average cost — not at KES 1.00. Nobody wins or loses on a void.
Revisions. Markets settle on the figure as first published. A later revision to an official statistic does not reopen a settled contract.
